Mission Statement
The main focus of our organization is EDUCATION!
Our pathway to accomplish this goal is many-fold and involves a cooperative effort by the entire membership. We are responsible for the dissemination of informational materials that are advantageous to our membership. We have the ability and must seek interactivity with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
We must reach out and communicate with our state legislators and inform them that their actions affect the population at large and that their decisions affect the health and well being of their constituency. Inform our membership that their actions have a direct relationship to our environment and must be aware of this at all times.
Provide an educational agenda that will inform our membership of the latest and environmentally sound practices available to them and encourage their use. Be aware of the needs and concerns of the public and address these issues in a proper manner. Hold all members to a high ethical standard. Foster a professional image through our educational events. Communicate with others within the industry so that we are self-educating and able to pass along valuable insights.
