Your membership in the Long Island Pest Control Association is a valuable asset to your business. Some of the advantages of being a member are listed here:
Education – Frequent educational seminars (at discounted rates to members) providing opportunities for you and your employees to improve and understand the importance of inspection and identification prior to possible applications. Receive the latest information on new products and the best way to utilize these tools.
Twice annual workshop events (again, discounted to members) allowing both you and your employees face to face conversations with DEC representatives, manufactures, distributors and some of the best pest management educators in the United States.
Hands-on events, which provides direct instruction regarding the use of products and how to enhance the use of them.
The association's educational events are not only staged to allow access to information they also give the opportunity to gain credits for re-certification.
Admittance to membership meetings (members only), some of which are attended by various vendors within the industry whom supply information to those in attendance.

Legislative and Regulatory issues – The association has a lobbyist (your dues at work) working in Albany monitoring and offering alternatives to legislation that may impede your business. LIPCA keeps the lines of communication open with the representatives of the NYSDEC.
Through these efforts LIPCA has been able to stop or alter many laws and regulations to protect your livelihood before they become law.
Newsletter – the newsletter is mailed to each member monthly containing a host of information, contacts, event scheduling and updates.
Web Site – Each member company will be listed on LIPCA'S WEB SITE improving your professional image and allowing on-line clients to locate you. Also on LIPCA'S web site there is a forum where you can express your opinion, exchange ideas with other members, ask a question or join in an ongoing conversation. Communicate with your fellow professionals.
LOGO – members are entitled to the use of the association logo on their business cards, stationary, web sites, etc.
MEMBERSHIP- also puts you in our e-mail data base for important updates, training seminar changes and notification, and any other information the association finds valuable to the members.
Health – LIPCA members have access to an exclusive health plan through Emblem Heath. Rates will vary depending upon coverage options.
