Welcome to Lipca

The Long Island Pest Control Association was founded as a non-profit trade association in 1963 by a group of forward looking individuals who recognized the need to band together for the benefit of their industry in the area.

They set a standard of ethical practices, established training programs, offered a common ground for pest control operators to communicate and share information in an effort to provide protection of health and property to the residents and businesses of New York.

Generations later these ideals and goals still stand and have been improved upon with new technology, avenues of communication, expanded contact with governmental agencies, increased educational opportunities for its' members and an increased awareness of how pesticides effect the environment.

The education of the membership is the association's highest priority. Presently there are monthly seminars, semi-annual workshops, hands-on training events and shared informational experiences that increase and enhance the knowledge of the membership in an effort to provide the public with the best possible pest management programs.

This guidance is put forth with the emphasis on the importance of customer safety and satisfaction plus a true regard for the environment that surrounds us all.

We declare a commitment to achieve the goals and purpose of this association.
